Fallout 4's popularity continues and fans are still actively playing the game. So as a thank you for that, Bethesda are releasing a High-Resolution Texture Pack for the game next week.
Okay, the downside is that you need to have an additional 58 GB of space available on your hard drive for them and that your system meets or exceeds the these recommended specs:
Recommended PC Specs
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Intel Core i7-5820K or better
GTX 1080 8GB/AMD Radeon RX 490 8GB
If your system can handle it, the Commonwealth will look better than ever. Give it a shot and if you need to return to the original textures, you can disable them within the game’s launcher menu.
Unfortunately, my aging games PC doesn't quite cut it with an AMD FX 6300 chip and a GTX 1060 3 Gb video card (I previously had a cheap nVidia GTX 960 2Gb replacement card for an AMD Sapphire Toxic R9 280X 3 Gb card that the cat pissed on and fried).
